This is an all wood airplane, no fancy materials that are difficult to handel.  All wood parts in the kit are precision laser cut, only a light sanding of the edges is needed to give the model a professionally built look.
The design was origonally adapted form the 1994 Minnow designed and distributed by Lloyd Shales.  It is capable of flight times of over 1 minute and 20 seconds without any modifications.  With modified prop, longer motor or custom stripped rubber you may get flights of up to 2 min or better.  This sort of flight time will surely motivate a beginner to rubber power model airplanes.
Kit contains full size plans, all laser cut wood parts and plastic covering to build TWO ~8g airplanes.  One 5 1/2" and one 6" plastic prop on hangers, enough 3/32" rubber for four motors and rubber lube are included in the kit.   You will need to provide wood glue, perminant glue stick, masking tape (1/4" wide preferred), non-stick paper to finish building the model.  A 10:1 winder is a must, as it will take 1,200 - 1,400 turns to fully wind the motor.
All wood has been carefully selected to yield a relatively robust airplane that weighs ~8g.  The wing and stabilizer spars are tapered, and have built in gussets at each joint.  The fuselage stick has the stabilizer incidence and prop thrust angle pre-cut, and the symetrical wing is mounted parrallel to the fuselage stick, so it doesn't matter which way round it is mounted, the laser cut ribs are cambered, but symetrical front to back, so you can't build two right wings!  There is even a pair of dihedral supports and a balancing jug included in the kit.  It's almost fool proof.

TRY SOME EXPERIAMENTS TO IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE AFTER YOU HAVE SUCESS WITH THE BASED MODEL:
There are many ways you can modify the airplane to increase it's performance if you are good!  Try making a larger stabalizer and mounting it on a longer tail boom, so you can fly with a rearward CG.  Increase the size and pitch of the prop to slow it down.
